BAKU – Prime Minister Ali Asadov of Azerbaijan has sent a congratulatory letter to his Ukrainian counterpart, Denys Shmyhal, on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter praised the deep historical ties and strong traditions between Azerbaijan and Ukraine. It reflected satisfaction with the current level of interstate relations, which are rooted in the collective will of the two nations and built on a strong foundation. The letter also expressed confidence that the traditional friendship and beneficial cooperation between the two countries would continue to flourish and expand.
