Baku - Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by Aleksandar Boricic, President of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), and Akif Ustundag, President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, focused on the promotion and development of volleyball in Azerbaijan. During the discussion, Prime Minister Ali Asadov emphasized the Azerbaijani government's efforts in sports development, including the establishment of modern sports infrastructure and support for athletes. He highlighted volleyball as a popular sport in the country and acknowledged the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation's desire to continue collaborations with international organizations like the CEV and the Turkish Volleyball Federation. The meeting also touched upon other areas of mutual interest, with Shahin Baghirov, President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, in attendance.
