Baku - Azerbaijan has seen a substantial rise in its crude oil and petroleum product exports to Austria in the first nine months of 2023.
According to Trend News Agency, over 266,560 tons of crude oil and petroleum products were exported to Austria during this period, accounting for 1.34 percent of Azerbaijan's total export volume.
The volume of oil exports to Austria increased by 98.27 percent (132,120 tons) year-on-year. The value of these exports reached $152.15 million, representing a 69.03 percent increase over the previous year. Overall, Azerbaijan exported 19.8 million tons of oil and petroleum products to foreign markets, a 1.86 percent increase from the previous year. Despite the volume increase, the total value of oil exports saw a decrease of 18.59 percent or $2.7 billion compared to the previous year.
