BAKU — Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended condolences to Kazakhstan following a fire that erupted in the Kostenko mine located in the Karaganda region.
According to a new release by Azeri-Press News Agency, the ministry expressed its sorrow over the tragic incident. "We are deeply saddened by the tragic consequences of the fire in the mining area in Kazakhstan. Our thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families & the brotherly people and government of Azerbaijan stands with Kazakhstan in the aftermath of the horrible tragedy," the ministry stated.
