Bishkek - The capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, is set to host the Green Energy Forum and GREEN EXPO Exhibition as part of the Green Economy Days. This announcement was made by Ainura Usenbekova, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, at a recent press conference.
According to 24.kg News Agency, the forum's primary objective is to enhance public understanding of green economy issues. It aims to direct the focus and collaborative efforts of various stakeholders towards the critical sectors crucial for the development of the Central Asian region. The event is designed to address the challenges and promote beneficial cooperation among different countries and sectors.
The exhibition will feature 50 companies showcasing green technologies and solutions relevant to the economic sector, aiming to foster the development of sustainable businesses. The event expects to draw representatives from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, South Korea, and various scientific communities, along with public and private sector representatives.
Kubanychbek Alimov, the Chairman of the Green Economy Committee of the JIA Business Association, highlighted the event's significance. He emphasized that the forum and exhibition are not new but have evolved to include international participants this year. Discussions will focus on issues related to the green economy, transportation, and energy sectors.
Alimov stressed the importance of educating the local population on the green economy. He mentioned that the exhibition would feature both domestic and foreign companies, providing a comprehensive insight into the challenges and opportunities within Kyrgyzstan's green economy sector.
