EU Ambassador Expresses Satisfaction with EU-Azerbaijan Relations

Baku: 'We are satisfied with the current state of our relations,' the European Union's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Marijana Kujundžic, stated in an interview with APA. She highlighted the progress in cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan, while also emphasizing the potential for further improvements.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, among the main areas of cooperation set for 2026, connectivity holds a significant position alongside traditional cultural and educational events. The ambassador identified connectivity as encompassing energy, the digital sphere, railways, highways, and other areas, underscoring its importance for both present and future collaborations.

Kujundžic also mentioned ongoing EU initiatives in Azerbaijan such as 'Education in Europe,' 'European Flavors,' and 'European Village.' She announced that the next major event, as part of the regional program Covenant of Mayors, is scheduled for February 13 in Nakhchivan.
