As reported, the fire at the Republican Perinatal Center, located on Yusif Safarov Street, Khatai District, Baku, was quickly extinguished by the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergencies, MES told APA.

Evacuation works were carried out by the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Special Risk Rescue Service and the forces of the Baku Regional Center.

Deputy Minister of Emergencies Lieutenant General Etibar Mirzayev is at the scene.
