Baku: First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva shared a post on her social media accounts in recognition of June 26, which is celebrated as Armed Forces Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press Nws Aency, the post expressed pride in the Azerbaijani Army, highlighting its contribution to the nation's victory. It also paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country. Aliyeva's message read: "We are proud of our Army, which has brought the joy of Victory to our people! May Allah have mercy on our martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives for the Motherland! May the Almighty protect our people and our beloved Azerbaijan!"
