An alarm was announced at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport due to the emergency landing of the “Air France” airliner, APA reports.

The “Boeing 777” airliner flying on the Osaka-Paris route sent an emergency landing request to Baku airport due to smoke on board of aircraft.

All emergency and rescue services have been put on standby due to the alarm announced at the airport. “Air France” aircraft successfully landed at 16:37 Baku time. 280 passengers on the plane were immediately evacuated and no one was injured as a result of the incident.

According to information, the plane is currently being inspected and a complex of necessary measures is being organized to determine all the reasons for the incident.
