Baku - Azerbaijan has recorded an 11.1 percent increase in non-oil exports, reaching over $2.7 billion from January to October this year, as reported by the “Export Review” magazine of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, food products export was valued at $706.9 million during this period. The report also highlights significant growth in specific export categories: alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and electricity exports surged by 2.9 times; plastic and its products by 24.6 percent; ferrous metal products by 19.8 percent; and fruits and vegetables by 11.5 percent. For October alone, the non-oil export increase was 15.4 percent, with food products and non-food products exports rising by 24.1 and 11.6 percent, respectively.
