Kazakh Gymnast Describes International Ojag Cup as a ‘Real Holiday’

Baku - Laysan Shakiran, a gold medalist in the hoop exercise at the International Ojag Cup in Baku, described the event as a "real holiday." The young gymnast from Kazakhstan shared her thoughts with Trend, after securing victory among gymnasts born in 2016 (group B).

According to Trend News Agency, Shakiran prepared intensively for the competition, aware of the high level of talent among the participants.

Shakiran praised the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku for its well-thought-out facilities that cater to the comfort and preparation needs of gymnasts. She felt a sense of support throughout the venue, contributing to her performance. The second Ojag International Cup, held from November 10 to 12, involves 325 individual gymnasts and 21 group exercise teams, representing 14 countries globally.
