NEW YORK — As a dedicated participant in the United Nations Global Compact, Azerbaijani mobile operator Nar reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development and responsible business practices at the recent UN Global Compact Leaders Summit.
According to Trend News Agency, the summit served as a prelude to COP29, emphasizing the private sector’s crucial role in tackling global climate change and sustainability challenges. For Nar, the event was a significant opportunity to align its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies with global sustainability goals, and to explore new initiatives for future implementation.
Hokuma Karimova, Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Nar, delivered a speech on the company’s initiatives toward inclusivity and social responsibility.
