Oil Prices Surge in Global Markets

Baku: Oil prices increased in global markets on Wednesday: On the London Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the price of Brent crude rose by $0.88 to reach $59.80 per barrel. Meanwhile, on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price of Light crude increased by $0.85, settling at $56.12 per barrel.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the rise in oil prices comes amidst ongoing discussions among major oil-producing countries regarding potential adjustments to production levels. The fluctuations in prices are being closely monitored by stakeholders as they could impact various sectors tied to energy costs.
