plans to launch the production of deep grain purification

An agreement in principle has been formalized between the state-owned enterprise "Azerbaijan Investment Company" and "Az?rs?k?r" company, signifying their intent to explore collaborative investment prospects within the realm of comprehensive wheat processing. This accord was confirmed by Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov. The minister underscored the project's significance, highlighting its potential to invigorate domestic manufacturing and mitigate reliance on imports. This project is centered on the profound processing of wheat, a procedure encompassing the division of grain into distinct constituents. The extensive spectrum of products achieved through deep processing holds remarkable added value, encompassing native and modified starches, glucose-fructose syrups, starch molasses, glucose, gluten, food-grade alcohol and biofuels, biogas, feed additives, among others. For instance, directing 200,000 tons of grain towards processing could yield 17,000 tons of dry gluten, 30,000 tons of glucose-fructose syrup, 60.3 thousand tons of wheat starch, 48.6 thousand tons of modified starch, and 40,000 tons of bran. Overall, this process would yield an estimated 195,000 tons of finished products. The versatility of deep processing extends to various grains as potential raw materials, including wheat, corn, barley, rye, oats, and triticale. Selection depends on the specific region's year-round grain availability, which is influenced by climatic nuances and agricultural circumstances.
