Bishkek - Registration for Kyrgyzstanis planning to perform the hajj to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina in 2024 has concluded, as reported by the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SDMK).
According to 24.kg News Agency, all registered pilgrims have made an initial payment to RSK Bank. A total of 6,524 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic each paid an initial amount of $2,000 and a non-refundable fee of 1,000 soms. The allocated hajj quota for Kyrgyzstan in 2024 is 6,060 people, with an additional 500 individuals kept in reserve, as per the muftiyat's statement.
