"Garabagh was a bleeding wound. Unfortunately, mediators, the Minsk Group and others have never taken steps to address this problem," First Deputy Chairman of Türkiye's Justice and Development Party, Chairman of Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States Binali Yildirim said as he addressed the official ceremony on the establishment of the Union of Notaries of the Turkic World, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.

He noted that Azerbaijan eventually solved the problem by itself, achieved victory in the 44-day war and liberated Garabagh.

“Unfortunately, Armenia continues to take wrong steps under the pressure of its diaspora. Instead of expanding relations with Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Iran and Georgia, and improving the welfare of its population, it was engaged in illegal activities in Garabagh. Despite the protests, they continued to act so and Azerbaijan took measures that destroyed terrorism at its roots. Now the Azerbaijani flag is flying in Garabagh, Khankandi and other regions. The expectation from the Armenians living there is that they get Azerbaijani citizenship and continue their lives in stability,” Binali Yildirim emphasized.
