‘Trkiye is the second main trade partner of Azerbaijan and our trade turnover for 11 months of 2023 has exceeded USD 7.2 billion, which is 33% more compared to the corresponding period of last year,’ said the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov during his speech at the Azerbaijan-Trkiye Investment Forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Great Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and the establishment of the Republic of Trkiye, APA-Economics reports.

‘Trkiye ranks first in the Azerbaijan’s investment volume of the foreign countries. This clearly shows the development level of investment partnership between our countries. Our country has invested USD 19.9 billion in Trkiye from 1995 to the first 6 months of 2023. It is gratifying that Trkiye ranks first among the countries investing in the non-oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan,’ the minister added.
