Ankara Hosts Trilateral Meeting of Turkish, Azerbaijani, and Uzbek Ministers


Ankara: The 2nd trilateral meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade/Economy, and Transport from Azerbaijan, Trkiye, and Uzbekistan has commenced in Ankara. This meeting aims to strengthen regional collaboration and address foreign policy issues.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan shared a post highlighting the agenda for this significant gathering. The discussions are centered around boosting cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, and investment, along with enhancing connectivity in transport and telecommunications.



The trilateral mechanism involving Trkiye, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan is being represented by their respective ministers of foreign affairs, trade, economy, and transport. The agenda is comprehensive, focusing on foreign policy issues, regional cooperation, and the development of a regional transport network.



Furthermore, the meeting is anticipated to delve into the growing importance of the Middle Corridor and address developments in Syria and Gaza, as well as the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. These discussions underscore the collaborative efforts of the three nations to enhance their strategic ties and regional influence.
