KHANKANDI: A 70-year-old Armenian-origin citizen of Azerbaijan, Agasyan Vera Varashakovna, passed away in Khankandi on October 20. The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan reported that she died between 9-10 a.m. at her residence.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, a forensic medical examination has been conducted to investigate her death. Preliminary results indicate that Varashakovna succumbed to acute pulmonary and heart failure due to pulmonary artery thrombosis. The ministry also noted that she had received medical care from its specialists and was provided with essential social support.
