AGHDAM: Construction efforts in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district have scaled up, with plans to erect 66 new buildings in the second residential quarter, including 60 residential buildings encompassing 1,268 apartments, as announced during the Caspian Construction Week.
According to Trend News Agency, Deputy Executive Director of Rehabilitation, Construction, and Management Service in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts Sabuhi Abdullayev detailed the ongoing development projects at the event. Abdullayev highlighted the comprehensive scope of the construction, which not only includes residential areas but also non-residential buildings and public infrastructures such as schools, kindergartens, and health centers.
The ambitious expansion in Aghdam is part of a broader effort to revitalize the area, which includes the construction of private residential houses in three villages within the district. Specifically, efforts are underway to build 203 houses in Sarijali village, 292 in Kengerli village, and 719 in Kh
idirli village. These projects also feature the construction of public amenities like club centers, market complexes, and administrative buildings, ensuring a well-rounded community infrastructure.
The Caspian Construction Week at the Baku Expo Center, where these plans were revealed, serves as a significant platform for discussing regional construction trends and showcasing global industry leaders. The event boasted participation from over 380 companies across 22 countries, emphasizing its role as a pivotal gathering for the construction sector.
