Azerbaijan’s Industrial Output Reaches 57.5 Billion Manats in 11 Months

Baku: Azerbaijan’s industrial sector produced goods valued at 57.5 billion manats from January to November 2025, marking a 1.1 percent decline compared to the same period last year.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, citing the State Statistical Committee, the oil and gas sector saw a production decrease of 2.1 percent, while the non-oil and gas sector experienced a growth of 4.8 percent.

The report details that 60.6 percent of the industrial output originated from the mining sector, 33.0 percent from the manufacturing sector, 5.4 percent from the electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution, and supply sector, and 1.0 percent from the water supply, waste treatment, and processing sector. Within the mining sector, commodity oil production dropped by 4.7 percent, whereas commodity gas production grew by 1.1 percent.

In the manufacturing sector, the production of pharmaceutical products surged by 94.9 percent, while the processing of wood and production of wood products increased by 60.9 percent. The production of computer, electronic, and optical products rose by 49.9 percent, and textile industry products increased by 27.1 percent. Other significant increases were observed in the production of rubber and plastic products (13.7 percent), tobacco products (13.2 percent), food products (9.8 percent), petroleum products (9.6 percent), and chemical industry products (8.7 percent). On the contrary, there were declines in the production of beverages (1.6 percent), construction materials (3.4 percent), machinery installation and repair (4.3 percent), metallurgical industry products (8.6 percent), machinery and equipment (8.7 percent), fabricated metal products (9.7 percent), furniture (10.0 percent), electrical equipment (11.2 percent), printing products (18.7 percent), leather and leather products and footwear (19.9 percent),
clothing (20.0 percent), paper and cardboard (26.2 percent), and motor vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers (33.9 percent).

In the electricity, gas, and steam sector, production increased by 0.9 percent. Meanwhile, the water supply, waste treatment, and processing sector saw a production rise of 3.3 percent.
