This figure represents an 11.3 percent increase compared to the same period last year, signaling robust growth in the industry.
According to Trend News Agency, the surge in tourism revenue continues to be a major economic driver for Georgia, with September 2024 alone seeing a revenue of $450 million, a 7.4 percent rise from September 2023. Galt & Taggart projects that by the end of the year, tourism revenue could reach a new high of $4.4 billion.
The previous year, 2023, saw Georgia's tourism revenue reach an unprecedented $4.1 billion, which was a 17.3 percent increase from 2022. The consistent growth in tourism revenue highlights the sector's vital role in Georgia's economy.
