Bugac: The 9th Great Hun Turkic Congress was held in the Hungarian city of Bugac, organized by the country's Turan Foundation and supported by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (T€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬¦‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬¦‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦‚¬Å¡¬€¦‚¬Å“RKSOY). Representatives of the diplomatic corps in Budapest, art representatives, scientists, and folklore experts from the Turkic World were also in attendance.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijan's presence was marked by the Folklore Group 'Gorgud', which participated with the support of the Ministry of Culture. Under the leadership of artistic director Nuriyya Huseynova and soloist Chilenay Huseynova, the group showcased national composer and folk songs. Their performance featured Honored Artists Tarana Aliyeva on the canon and Fazile Rahimova on the cheng, alongside Rustam Muslumov on the tar, Jeyhun Muradov on the kamancha, and Akbar Mammadov on the drum.
The three-day ethnofestival was rich with cultural exchanges, including concert programs, cavalry parades, presentations on nomadic life, and ancient martial arts. Attendees also explored handicraft exhibitions and participated in scientific meetings focusing on archaeology and anthropology.
The biennial Great Hun Turkic Congress aims to further strengthen the unity between the Turkic peoples and their diaspora organizations, fostering cultural and historical ties.
